Sam Wise used to build wonderful treehouses for a living, and after having constructed two on his own family farm, he started hosting parties and celebrations in them.

Several of his guests commented on how impressive the woodland surroundings were and requested to hold celebrations of their own there. As a result, the inspiration to entertain couples and wedding parties in the area was born.

Wise Wedding Venue has hosted numerous celebrations on their grounds and offers the site exclusively to each bride and groom who wishes to host their big day there.

Facilities

Wise Wedding Venue does not have a civil ceremony licence, but a reading, blessing or a humanist handfasting can readily be held under the lovely old oak tree in the woodland clearing.

Included in the hire of the grounds is the fantastic lake lighting, whimsical suspended sofas and armchair seesaw, luxury toilet facilities, log fire and log seating. Venue hire starts from £3000.

Reception Marquee

This large marquee is set up to house the formal wedding breakfast and the evening reception festivities. The marquee also comes complete with matting floor, 20 up lights around the interior walls, 12 globe pendent lights hanging from the apex.

A marquee is an excellent blank canvas and can be decorated exactly as you wish, whether that's adorned with fresh flowers or strewn with bunting and lanterns.

Chill-Out Treehouse

In the meantime, Sam Wise has constructed another treehouse which can be used by guests as a rather stylish 'chill-out' area.

Catering

Caterers are externally sourced, giving each wedding party the freedom to choose whatever cuisine they wish. Whether you're envisioning a scrumptious hog roast, wood fired pizzas or fresh and colourful vegan dishes, absolutely anything is possible.

Wise Wedding Venue often works with The Complete Lunch, a well-established catering company, and recommends their delicious creations for couples who are enjoying their woodland.

Accommodation

The fully-furnished treehouse bridal suite is a lovely and highly unusual opportunity for newlyweds to spend their night in the treetops.

For other wedding guests, tipis can be set up on site.
