Facilities

Shepherd's Cottage

This 18th century thatched cottage is located on the edge of the medieval wood and lakes, offering an ideal location for your intimate ceremony with your nearest and dearest.

This quaint setting is also perfect for couples who desire a cosy and historic wedding venue but without the grandeur of castles and stately homes.

Main Barn

The main barn is a large open space that has been beautifully restored, featuring exposed oak beams, a licensed bar, stage and dance floor.

This rustic space is perfect for larger celebrations. Perhaps have an intimate ceremony at first, then invite everyone you know for a party to remember.

Mixing Barn

The Mixing Barn is a lovingly restored area that can be rented alongside the Main Barn as an additional space for your wedding.

The Mixing Barn is ideal for a large ceremony or as a drinks reception space after you say your I do's. It's rustic exposed brick walls and vaulted ceilings can be decorated with bunting, fairy lights and pom poms.

Catering

Wantisden Valley have direct partnerships with two highly regarded catering companies, Patricia Sharman and Company and Hatfields Catering.

Patricia Sharman and Company have over 30 years of business experience, the team have established a reputable service with their flexibility and fine food.

Hatfields Catering also has over 25 years within the catering business. They can create a range of traditional English dishes like roast beef and salmon fillets and have plenty of choices to suit all tastes and dietary requirements.

Both catering companies offer a range of dining styles from fine dining to a less formal barbecue, suiting the needs of each and every couple. Sample menus are available, however if you are looking for something more bespoke this can be accommodated upon request.
