The house was originally built in the 1790s and then heavily remodelled in the early 1830s into the neo classical style seen now and where to the present day the original family still live.

Facilities

The stunning estate is reserved solely for you on your special day, with the grand mansion providing a picturesque backdrop overlooking the Great Ouse River. It is truly a magical setting for any celebration.

Wedding receptions take place in a marquee on the pristine main lawn in front of Turvey House. Whether you prefer a classic country marquee, a tipi-tent, or an elegant stretch marquee, they will work with you to bring your vision to life.

Turvey House can accommodate large marquees and offers parking for several hundred guests.

Accommodation

River Cottage dates back to the 18th century and was previously a local dairy. It is set within the grounds of Turvey House and had a full refurbishment in 2021. There are three double bedrooms within the cottage that you and your guests can enjoy.
