History
The Woodman Inn is situated right next to the Nuthamsptead Airfield Museum, with the USAAF commissioning an airfield and camp in Nuthampstead in 1942. The Inn itself has some fantastic photos that document its interesting wartime history. The Inn itself was built in the 17th century and was frequently visited by American airmen stationed nearby; the incredible team running The Woodman Inn have saluted to their colourful history by offering a selection of English and American cuisine.
