• Parents of the Bride

  Stayed here for our daughters wedding. Lovely old building with amazing staff. Beautiful views and lots of photo opportunities. The whole day was very relaxed and run seamlessly due to the hard working staff. Charli, the wedding coordinator is fantastic. We had room 9 which is a beautiful, large room with beams and a modern shower room. Two of our party had the disabled ground floor rooms which were easy to access in the court yard. Vegetarians and gluten free guests catered for very well. The wedding meal was tasty and piping hot. Breakfast was good this morning with lots of gluten free choices.

  We had our wedding last Saturday and the Webbington were amazing from the very start. Laura-Jayne was an amazing help all the way through the planning process, very organised, professional and friendly.
  We met Charlie on the Friday when we arrived with all our stuff and she was also extremely helpful and friendly. All of the staff on the Friday were so so helpful and nothing was too much. They communicated with us the whole time and this led to us having the most perfect day ever!
  Our actual wedding day went without a hitch, both Charlie and Dan were superb and so so helpful. You could see all of the staff were so dedicated to making the day so special.
  The venue, atmosphere, food and staff made our day a day we will never forget and would not hesitate to recommend to anyone and everyone! Thank you so so much for everything you all did, especially Laura-Jayne, Charlie, Dan and Jamie.

  We had our wedding here on the 22nd September and we can honestly say it was such an amazing day! We booked the Webbington for our reception back in 2016, and was so lovely to see everything all come together!
  
  A BIG thank you to Roger, Miro, Laura-Jayne & all the team for looking after us on the day, everything went so smoothly! the food was spot on and family and friends all commented on how delicious it was! We had the resident DJ booked in the evening and he did an amazing job for us, and we danced all night till the very end!
  
  We attended two of the Webbington's wedding fayre's in the lead up to the day, and they were worth a visit, lots of ideas and inspiration!
  
  The weather wasn't on our side, but we made the most of it and have lots of happy memories of our wedding day! Thank you again to all involved, we had the best time!

  We enjoyed our daughter's wedding reception here on May 19th 2018, and were so impressed felt we should share our experience with others. Despite our initial misgivings due to a couple of changes to the wedding coordinator Lisa came on board and provided us with an excellent service and great attention to detail, fulfilling all requests as far as was possible and making her own suggestions to enhance the presentation of the wedding breakfast room. From the moment the bride and groom and wedding party arrived after the ceremony the attention paid to us by staff was faultless. Lisa ensured we were introduced to Dan the duty manager and our point of contact for the day. He was impressive in his role as 'master of ceromonies' and continued to support us throughout the day and evening reception. Nothing was too much trouble for him, he checked with us frequently to ensure the day was running as we hoped and was accommodating of any requests we made. Despite the long day and late evening finish he remained bright and cheerful and never faltered in his high standards and own expectations of the occasion being a day to remember. Many thanks to the whole team at the Webbington who supported Dan and Lisa with our wedding.

  Deb and I would like to thank you and your team so very much for the most fabulous wedding day. It was perfect in every way and even the weather was spot on this time! Everyone remarked upon how lovely the meal was and how smoothly everything went as an event. The staff were courteous, attentive and cheerful – our thanks to each and every one of them.
  
  We would particularly like to thank you and the team for being so understanding and flexible regarding the unavoidable cancellation of the original ceremony in March and for putting up with our decorations in your office space until the rescheduled date. It certainly took some of the stress out of that awful situation for us.

  We booked the Webbington for a wedding and had a fantastic day. The staff were excellent and everything ran smoothly and according to plan. We were able to tweak the package we chose by adding some of our own food for the buffet.
  The in house DJ was good although he had an easy job with getting people on the dance floor as many of our party were dance loving Brazilians! We used the venues florist too - The secret garden in Axbridge - amazing!
  Many of our guests (at least 40) stayed overnight and enjoyed a generous hot and/or cold buffet breakfast.
  We would definitely recommend as a wedding venue at an affordable price!

  My son got married here 23 September, it was a glorious day which meant the wedding could go ahead outside, it was a brilliant day, the staff were great, the food for the wedding was gorgeous, it is the best place to host a wedding, the rooms were nice and beds very comfortable. It is an amazing place.

  We would thoroughly recommend the Webbington for a wedding reception. We dropped off table plans, etc. the day before. All was in place on the day without a hitch. They could not have been more helpful, excellent three course meal and buffet in the evening.

  Had the perfect wedding.. this is a great venue for an outdoor wedding. We had the perfect day package which meant everything was included in one price. The accommodation is lovely and staff are friendly and welcoming.

• Happy Bride

  We had our wedding here in January 2016, and I cannot fault it. Sarah the wedding planner was amazing, literally everything I asked for was there. I had huge amounts of props and decorations and they were all in place on the day. I even changed things on the night before which was no trouble to them at all. I'm a hard person to please and extremely fussy, but I have no bad points to say. If you're considering this as a venue please just do it, you won't be disappointed. Thank you xx

  We booked our wedding at The Webbington and the day couldn't have gone better. The attention to detail was fabulous, and the food delicious. Sarah the coordinator and the whole team were amazing and followed our instructions just as we wished. Would recommend to anyone. A happy happy day that we will remember with a smile forever.
