History

Once known as The Walled Privy, located alongside the magnificent Cowdray Ruins, a landmark visited by royalty including Henry VIII, Edward VI and Elizabeth I. In 1770 it is believed that British Landscape Architect, Capability Brown was employed on the Estate and was involved in the design and planning of the Walled Garden.

We absolutely loved every moment of the wedding, and it was just the most perfect reception. Rachael was amazing at co-ordinating everything and keeping me feeling relaxed, and the day went really smoothly! Our guests absolutely adored The Walled Garden, the weather obviously helped, but everything looked so beautiful! Thanks so much for letting us have our wedding there!
