When planning her own wedding in 2012, Jenna loved getting to pick all the little details that would go in to her big day. Something she felt particularly connected with was the floral arrangements.

A year later, her best friend was planning her wedding reception and, knowing how much Jenna had enjoyed working with flowers before, she asked for help. Working together with her friend on the flowers made her passion blossom and she loved knowing she had helped for someone else's special day.

After taking part in formal wedding floristry training she began a successful career. Knowing that she has contributed to a bride and groom's happiness brings her so much joy.

The Flowers

Jenna's designs appeal to many senses. She prides herself on not only using bold colours, but also incorporating foliage for texture and scented herbs for a fragrant bouquet or arrangement. She can help you decide exactly what you want to complement your outfits and chosen venue.

For the bride

The bouquet is perhaps the most important arrangement of flowers that exists at a wedding, and Jenna makes sure that she gets this aspect perfect. All flowers are treated to make sure they are as fresh at the bouquet toss as they are when you receive them in the morning.

Jenna can also make beautiful flower crowns for both the bride and her bridesmaids, or a smaller hair comb for a floral accent to your updo.

For the wedding party

Not forgetting the groom and all of his men, Jenna creates beautiful buttonholes. These will arrive in a presentation box to keep them safe.

Jenna can include these same blooms in small bouquets and corsages for the bridesmaids, as well as flower girls' posies and pomanders. By weaving twigs into hoops she can craft beautiful circlets which would be perfect for the littlest flower girls and page boys.

If your four-legged friend is getting an invite to your special day, collars for flower dogs could also be added to your wedding flower package!

For the venue

There are countless ways that Jenna can style your venue, it all depends on the spaces available and your individual tastes. Among other things, The Summerhouse can provide pew ends and pedestals and birch wood arches for your ceremony.

Table centrepieces comprise of small floral jam jars, freestanding displays, or presented in Jenna's growing collection of candlesticks, planters and vases. Whether you want to fill your dining room with milk churns or have a bespoke floral chandelier built, Jenna is able to cater to you and your wedding day.

Services

Jenna starts every wedding with a consultation. She takes guidance from the couple on specific flowers or broader themes. If your mother had a particular flower in her wedding bouquet, she is happy to incorporate it into yours.

With her years of experience in floristry, she can recommend the flowers that are in season or would match beautifully with your dress. She also has her finger on the pulse of the newest fashions to make your wedding a trend setter.

In trying to get to know you, Jenna will go through a portfolio of her past work to work out what trends would suit you best. Visiting the venue together can also help as you can envision what you want on the day. Together, you will create a mood board of exactly what you are looking for.

On the wedding day itself, Jenna will make sure that your bouquets and buttonholes arrive with you in perfect condition. Your priority will be getting yourself ready whilst she will take care of delivery and installation of the arrangements at your venue.

Extras

As well as dressing the wedding party and the venue, Jenna can make cones of petals to be used as confetti.
