  Kizzie and I had our wedding reception at The Lawn on Saturday 8th June. We would like to pass on our huge thanks for the work that was put in on the day and leading up to it! All the staff - from management, cooks, waitresses and cleaners - did an amazing job! It all went so smoothly and made the day so special for us. We are still getting messages from family and friends expressing their thoughts on how lovely The Lawn is! We would highly recommend you to anyone!

  Chris and I married at The Lawn on 25th May 2019. I'm a little late with this review, but having just been on honeymoon I hope I am excused.

  
  

  Our wedding has been voted by all of our guests as the best wedding ever - and to us, it certainly was. We also received a multitude of comments about the venue itself and how spectacular it was. It was resplendent in the bright sunshine and seeing all our guests on the veranda and The Lawn itself after the ceremony was magical.

  
  

  The day ran like clockwork thanks to the dedication and hard work of the team of waiters, waitresses, the Master of Ceremonies and all the other people who put up with my incessant emailing and questions. No request was too big or small to be accommodated (we had numerous live musicians perform during the ceremony and all the sound checks and set ups were dealt with without any hassle).
  The food for the wedding breakfast was exceptional and they even managed to accommodate a flashmob between the main course and dessert!

  
  

  I would recommend The Lawn as a wedding venue to any bride and groom who have not yet settled on where to hold their celebrations. You certainly won't be disappointed.

The day ran so smoothly and all of our guests were complimenting the beautiful setting and amazing service provided.   We had our twilight wedding here just a couple days ago 29th may 2019, and it was just the best day ever! Such a beautiful place! All the staff were so helpful and professional, everyone commented on the hot buffet, it was absolutely delicious and it was refilled plenty of times! And the gardens are just beautiful. We really couldn't fault this stunning venue and would definitely recommend to any bride and groom to be.

  We got married yesterday at The Lawn. We cannot recommend the venue and the Team enough. They were fantastic from the very first meeting to the actual wedding day.
  David and Andrew were so helpful in giving advice from booking the venue to the actual day. The other staff were fab too - nothing was too much trouble. I'm an anxious person, but everyone made me feel at ease. The day flowed beautifully.
  All of our guests were so impressed and have been commenting on how well it went and how delicious the food was. We would 100% say to anyone considering The Lawn to book it for their special day. Thank you so much to everyone for making our day so smooth and special. Mr and Mrs Coxall xx

  Thank you everyone at The Lawn for an amazing day! Everything was perfect, the staff on the day were brilliant and helpful at all times, our guests were wowed with the food! The package we got included seat covers and DJ! Both were brilliant and a lovely touch to the wedding booking – don't think we could have organised better ourselves.
  
  We were initially under the impression that we wouldn't get help setting up on the day, but we did and it was a massive help. Your waiting staff did a great job at keeping the guests happy, the buffet was complimented by everyone. The service was just amazing, would definitely recommend anyone to use your venue. It was such a beautiful memorable day.

  Cannot recommend The Lawn enough. We had our special day on Monday and it was truly the most perfect day! They couldn't have been more helpful from the minute we viewed the venue to the day after packing up. They have the running of the day down to perfection so that there are no worries. Was a complete stress free day enjoyed by everyone. The grounds are truly stunning! Thank you so much for making our day amazing.

  Thank you so much for making our wedding Saturday 14th July 2018, the best day of our lives and as stress free as possible. Thank you for being so understanding with having to postpone the date and not charging us a fee, also with the last minute changes with the guest list and for the cheque refund we received.
  
  Everything was as perfect as could be, brilliant staff throughout the day and planning, especially Debra, fantastic venue, food and drink, even the weather was lovely and all the guests were very impressed, some even said it was the best wedding they had been to!
  
  Very Highly recommended, it's no wonder you are one of the best wedding venues in Essex and I especially like it is exclusively yours for the day and this venue was my dear mum's choice god rest her sweet soul.

  We had our wedding at The Lawn last Sunday 22 April and it was a perfect day in every way. We had been planning our wedding for a year and the staff at The Lawn were absolutely amazing. They helped with every little detail. If you are having a wedding, The Lawn should be top of the list - it's beautiful - everyone commented on the venue, the food and the service.   This is a huge thank you for making our wedding so very special. From the moment we viewed The Lawn, more or less deciding then and there it was the place for us, to the wedding day itself - you made it easy for us. Every question asked was answered promptly and clearly and all done so nicely. You all made quite a stressful process into a pleasurable one. On the day itself, you far exceeded our expectations: the ceremony was beautiful, the organisation of everyone brilliant on such a rainy day, the meal was so lovely (our guests mentioned the meal and the buffet consistently as being fantastic) and it was all done so quietly and efficiently.
  We would recommend you to anyone! Our only regret is that we can't do it all over again! With lots and love and thanks.

  David Keddie and his team at this venue are fantastic, they made sure our wedding ran smoothly and on time, plus guided us through the whole day. Andrew the toastmaster was out of this world. The venue itself is elegant, tastefully decorated, the Orangery was absolutely perfect to hold our wedding breakfast in, plus the grounds gave our photographer lots of great shots. Would recommend this venue to anyone. Faultless.
