History
The original Guildhall in Llantrisant was built in 1346 and served as a base for the Freemen, as well as being a national school, a Baptists meeting point and a court of law. It was rebuilt in 1773, supported by Lady Charlotte Jane Windsor, to govern the local area.
After recent refurbishment, the Guildhall opened its doors as a heritage and visitor centre, displaying objects of importance from the local area. The Grade II-listed building sits underneath the remains of Richard de Clare's magnificent castle tower, and is a beautiful place to tie the knot.
