Between the Retort and the Gas Holder lies The Glazed Link linking the new with the old part of the building. It provides the perfect space for your guests to enjoy drinks and canapés before the wedding breakfast. This light and airy room also features the historic brick diaper pattern seen on the outside of the building and has access to the newly finished courtyard area.

The Gas Holder

Derbyshire’s only round wedding reception room, the Gas Holder is the newest addition to the site. Constructed on the footprint of the original gas holder they have created a unique and stunning reception room. It is perfect for you to hold your wedding breakfast and reception party in. The room can hold up to 80 seated for a wedding breakfast or 100 evening guests.

The Retort

Featuring red brick walls and a vaulted ceiling with exposed iron work, the retort makes the perfect space for your bar and relaxed seating area. The space has an industrial feel to it which is softened by the oak wood floor.

The Grounds

You will have exclusive access to the grounds including the woodland area with winding path and the rear courtyard area. There are so many stunning backdrops to capture memories of your special day, including the building.
