Repertoire
The Bristol String Quartet's repertoire spans a surprising number of musical styles, genres and generations.
The ensemble's classical favourites include Handel's 'The Water Music', Mozart's 'Divertimenti' and of course, Mendelssohn's 'Wedding March' - all enhanced by the Bristol String Quartet's highly precise and extensive classical training.
Modern Music
String quartets don't always have to stick to exactly 'what it says on the tin'. The Bristol String Quartet has often received positive comments on their ability and enthusiasm to play modern material, from 20th-century popular classics such as The Beatles' Hey Jude, Sinatra's My Way and Eric Clapton's Layla, to even more modern hits such as Lady Gaga's Paparrazi, Coldplay's Yellow and Elbow's One Day like This.
Step into the more humorous renditions of modern music - nothing can quite match The Bristol String Quartet's rendition of Metallica's Nothing Else Matters or even Bob Marley's I Shot the Sherriff.
Special Arrangements
If you'd like a specific song or piece of music to be played at your wedding (whether modern or older), it's likely already to be a part of their repertoire - if it's not, then don't hesitate to request it, as this quartet are open to arranging pieces especially for you!
