The Main Hall

Welcome Inside the Oast! Step into the main hall and be captivated by the stunning oak beamed ceiling, the elegant minstrels gallery, and the warm pine floor. This spacious hall, measuring approximately 17' wide and 38' long, welcomes you with its roundels at the far end, serving as the grand entrance to Swallows Oast. On the right, you'll find a well-stocked bar, while on the left, there are convenient toilets and a semi-spiral stairway.

Ascend the spiral stairway and discover a spacious gallery, offering versatility for additional tables, buffet arrangements, or simply a vantage point to observe the festivities. To enhance the atmosphere, consider the enchanting melodies of a string quartet or other musical accompaniment, either before or during your meal. The choice is yours to create the perfect ambience for your special occasion..

The Courtyard

With the summer sun shining down, the courtyard becomes a delightful welcome for your guests. Extend the Oast to the Courtyard with an adjoining marquee, providing additional room for your event, particularly in the winter months.

Indulge in the crowd-pleasing delights of barbecues and hog roasts, whether as a unique wedding breakfast or an extra evening feast.

Outdoor Ceremonies

At Swallows Oast, the team take immense pride in providing awe-inspiring outdoor weddings. The grounds boast several magnificent locations where they are licensed to host civil ceremonies. From the enchanting pavilion to the secluded woodland, the majestic oak trees, and the serene lake, you have a plethora of options to exchange your vows.

Marquees

Enhance your event with their optional marquee, providing extra space for both daytime and evening guests. This versatile addition can be transformed into a reception area or utilised for arrival drinks, cake tables, and even photo booths. In the evening, it becomes a cosy retreat where guests can relax with a glass of wine, away from the lively entertainment.

Russell Webb and his team offer a full range of delicious foods to suit all tastes and budgets, they will design the menu with you to give the big occasion your personal touch! All their menus use the very best ingredients. Speak to the team to find out more!

Bridal Suite

The Suite will be available for one or two nights’ stay depending on the chosen Wedding day. For Friday Weddings, the Pre-Wedding day can be a chance for the Bride to stay with Bridesmaids or close family in the run up to the big day.
