About
Located a convenient ten minute stroll from the city centre, St Paul's Church is a lovely sight of deep red bricks.
The site of the church was sold by Caius College in 1839. In 1841 St Paul's would be build, designed by Ambrose Poynter who designed two other local churches. The church fell under attack from the Cambridge Camden Society who objected to the resurgence of classic design in churches and touted Gothicism as a far superior architectural form.
