Established in 1914, the club is rich in golfing history with many famous players benefitting from the magnificent grounds. Initially designed by golfing royalty JH Taylor and later Harry Colt, Sonning Golf Club has been home to professional golfing legends for over 100 years.

With lovely rooms in which to host your ceremony and a beautiful terrace where you and your guests can enjoy reception drinks prior to your wedding breakfast. The venue will be yours exclusively for the day and night.

The club has in-house chefs who will work with you to create a bespoke and personalised menu for a fantastic wedding feast using fresh and locally sourced produce. You can choose whether you would prefer a formal set menu for your wedding breakfast or a casual barbecue.
