This incredible converted mill house is an amazing year round wedding venue located in the heart of Cambridgeshire on the banks of the River Mell. Whether you prefer snowdrops or daffodils the river is always stunningly picturesque.

With a wide range of rooms for you to choose from the venue is ideal to create a bespoke wedding for you and your guests, picking the room or hall that you prefer.

The Sheene Mill hails from the 16th century; it boasts incredible views of the idyllic surrounding countryside and old mill pond and has become a popular location for wedding ceremonies and receptions alike.

To truly capture the unique beauty of the venue why not try and grab a photo with the resident heartthrob, Will? The swan will provide the perfect elegant romanticism to your wedding photos - though try not to get too close.

Facilities

The building can host a variety of weddings, wedding breakfasts and receptions, from small affairs of only 30 guests in the Garden Conservatory to larger celebrations in the Banqueting Hall with 120 family and friends. The Mill offers nine boutique bedrooms - each one decorated to echo the buildings 16th century origins. Each room comes with an en-suite and a guaranteed spectacular view of the surrounding Cambridgeshire countryside.

Sheene Mill restaurant is the perfect choice for your wedding breakfast.

Their packages offer a range of catering options - from canapés to three course meals. They use a range of locally sourced, seasonal ingredients to create innovative, modern dishes and specialize in the height of decadence, lobster and steak.

    We were married at the Sheene mill on the 18th November, I honestly can't think of a word that could possibly express how unbelievably amazing it was. When we first visited the venue to look around, we knew there and then that it was the place that we could see ourselves getting married; the feel of the place is truly magical & the location something that I could only dream of.
    On the day, we were looked after from the moment we arrived right through to the breakfast the next morning, Emma and her team were fabulous. The food was fantastic & no expense spared, we have had lots of our guests comment on how much they loved it & it was the best wedding menu they had ever had, a testament to their award winning chefs.

    We had our wedding here Saturday 17th September 2016. It was the most perfect day. I can't praise Emma and the rest of the staff highly enough. They were all brilliant. The food was delicious and so many guests commented on how beautiful the building and gardens are. I wouldn't change a single thing about the day and we'll be back on 17th September 2017 to celebrate our 1st wedding anniversary.

    We got married here on the 7th September 2016. It was the first and only venue we looked at, I'd had my eye on it before we were even engaged and knew we had to go and see it. After our first meeting with Emma several months before we knew we had to get married here. Simply stunning and perfect for our small and intimate wedding! Food was spot on, the staff were brilliant even when a good few of us had had one too many drinks! Looking forward to returning frequently for drinks once the weather gets warmer! Many thanks!
