Sassa's Cakes initially began as a part-time hobby back in 2010. It was initially the cake craft that appealed to Debbie and after becoming redundant from her other job she was excited to make a go of it full-time. Debbie's daughter Kayleigh and husband Giles have since joined the business, making it a wonderful family affair.
The team are very excited to be opening their brand new cake workshop and showroom, finally taking the business out of their home.
All cakes are baked on-site and made using with only freshest quality ingredients. All eggs are free-range and sourced from a local supplier in nearby Harleston, with the use of the finest Belgian chocolate and conserves as well.
The sponge cake proves a particular favourite with many customers, with this tried and tested recipe Debbie and her team are always willing to test new flavours to create your ideal combination.
As well as wedding cakes, the team can also supply scrumptious cupcakes and cake pops as well. Please feel free to advise the team of any special dietary requirements when organising your unique consultation, as gluten and dairy free cakes can be arranged.

As each and every cake is designed bespoke to the individual clientele, Sassa's are not able to apply fixed pricing to their designs. However, there is a pricing scale for cakes, starting with a 'base cost' depending on the size and portion. An additional coast is then added, varied dependant on the time and skill level required for the decorating process.
The majority of wedding cakes can be delivered and set up by the team, who believe this is an important part of the overall service. Debbie's team will also contact your venue directly to sort the delivery process. Delivery charges apply at a rate of 50p per mile each way. On some occasions, if you have a smaller wedding cake it may be possible to collect your cake in person the day before your wedding if preferred.
