History
Named after HRH Prince Philip the Duke of Edinburgh, Princes Hall was re-opened on 22nd May 1973. Originally designed as a civic venue for formal and mayoral events, the hall had been comprehensively refurbished, similar to the way it looks today.
The Princes Hall Pantomime has been a hit since its mid-1970s launch, and in 2005/6 broke records for ticket sales. Since the millennium, the modernised venue has attracted many famous names, run today as a prestigious theatrical and events facility.
