About

Penny started her photography journey in her teens but as life and opportunities often do, she headed in a completely different direction working instead as an HR professional for a number of years. She started her wedding photography business in 2008 going full time in 2012 and adding boudoir to her portfolio in 2016.

Capturing a couple's wedding day is a real privilege and a joy to be part of. Penny believes in the value of beautiful images that tell the story of a moment in time and the people who shared it considering herself lucky to be part of such a day bursting with love.

The Photos

Penny specialises in a relaxed and uncontrived approach to wedding storytelling. Working in a hands-off documentary way allows her to capture the joy and excitement while letting couples relish every moment as the day unfolds.

Penny will capture the small details as well as the big moments without getting in the way or telling you what to do. You don’t need to worry about set-up shots or posing and she won’t get you to act in any way that doesn’t reflect who you are. You should look back at your photos and remember how you felt in that moment and not remember the act of being photographed.
