This vibrant, lively and top-end function band consists of a talented bunch of young professionals who can be relied on to bring a unique energy to any wedding celebration. The band offers anything from a compact three-piece to play for smaller audiences to a full-sized Motown-inspired Party Max ensemble which showcases a brass section plus saxophones, female vocalists and more.
Armed with years of experience in the industry and complete with their own PA system, also offering the band's 'resident' DJ who plays between sets and up to the end of the night, Party Max are a flexible and completely self-sufficient outfit. Simply put, Party Max features a bunch of exceptionally talented session musicians of like mind who regularly perform at events such as weddings (up to 200 a year). They are fantastic fun, top-notch function band, without a doubt one of the finest in Essex.
They draw on a pool of talented 'Deps' to augment the band on larger gigs, with a core group comprising guitar, bass and drums.
Party Max's repertoire is wonderfully eclectic, spanning musical genres dating back to the '50s and covering all the latest hits too! Add to all this some spectacular Dance, Motown, Funk and Soul numbers, especially when the horn section is included, and you have a fantastic playlist guaranteed to knock the socks off your wedding guests. Party Max can present one long set or several shorter sets of live performance for your big day, depending on your requirement. For weddings, couples typically choose to have two sets, each of an hour's duration, played within a five-hour overall time-period.
For this arrangement, you will be provided with the agreed band personnel and line-up of your choice, fully equipped with a high-quality QSC PA system coupled with an intelligent lighting system, plus professionally-mixed music in the intervals between sets.
