Dating back to 1720, Parade House was built for the wealthy cloth merchant Robert Houlton. It is one of the towns finest buildings, standing proud on Fore Street.

Parade House is located in the market town of Trowbridge, Wiltshire. Not far from Bath and easily accessible from London, this elegant townhouse is located in the historic town centre. Parade House is steeped in history dating back to the 1700's, the Grade I listed building commands attention with its regal façade. Step inside to discover a grand sweeping staircase and a selection of exquisite rooms to host your civil ceremony, seated wedding breakfast and into the evening enjoy the Ushers Bar for drinks and dancing.
The Grand Ballroom provides an elegant backdrop to your day, able to host up to 54 guests, you will feel like wedding royalty in this dazzling room adorned with chandeliers and antiques. The team at Parade House look forward to discussing your wedding plans with you, they have a selection of recommended suppliers from caterers through to florists, to ensure your days runs without a hitch.
Facilities
Parade House has a variety of elegant rooms for your special day. Please note that due to the building being listed, regrettably there is currently no wheelchair access or lift.
The Director's Room
Rich mahogany reds with wood-panelled walls create an air of elegance. Antique furnishings and a statement marble fireplace set the scene for any love story.
The Drawing Room
Soft shades of duck egg blue mixed with crisp whites create a truly romantic setting. The Drawing Room has an original carved ceiling, marble fireplace and exposed dark wooden floorboards.
The Grand Ballroom
Living up to its name, The Grand Ballroom is a spectacular space to celebrate your special day. Ascend the 18th century staircase before taking your seat in front of the full-length sash windows framed by luxurious silk curtains. Dine in style under the twinkling statement chandeliers, feeling like wedding royalty.
The Robing Room
Located next to The Ballroom, The Robing Room is perfect for preparation dressing prior to the ceremony.
