Ceremony

A wood burning stove set into a grand old chestnut tree marks the spot where your ceremony will take place. It’s a rustic yet luxurious setting with room for up to 150 guests, and every detail can be tailored to your taste. Natural wood accents and mellow stone walls speak of endurance and longevity – the perfect symbols for your union.

Reception

After your ceremony, you and your guests head up a winding, leafy pathway for a red carpet welcome in the exclusive wedding marquee and garden. Alternatively, stay in the main hotel and enjoy the wedding garden, welcoming rooms, seasonal blazing fires and cosy corners while the team ready the Chestnut Room for your reception. Either way, the backdrop is extraordinary: breathe in the sea air, take in the views and enjoy the sound of birdsong from the woods that rise behind the hotel.

You’re making memories to last a lifetime, so you want pictures to match – and the blues and golds of Oxwich Bay are the ultimate backdrop for your wedding photographs. The venue is backed by enchanting woodland, so you can also take a forest walk, or head to the picturesque 6th Century St Illtwyds church that lies just beyond the wedding marquee.

Every wedding needs a bubbly party atmosphere and as the evening draws in, the exclusive wedding marquee rises to the occasion with a dance floor and their very own in-house DJ. Alternatively, you and your guests can celebrate in the Chestnut Room – the DJ is available here too, and you are welcome to finish either venue with your choice of decorations.

Accommodation

It goes without saying that the happy couple get the best room in the house. The gorgeous honeymoon room with a Juliet balcony overlooking the beautiful Oxwich Bay. Your guests will be delighted too: they have excellent accommodation to suit all tastes and needs, ranging from stylish hotel rooms to glorious country chic rooms in our Ivy Cottage, located near to the hotel. The caravans at Beach Walk Parc, tucked in a meadow between the hotel and Ivy Cottage, are perfect for families, and the Secret Garden next to the Hotel is a gorgeous, secluded hideaway where every self-contained pod has its own patio garden framed by greenery.
