Nero String Quartet

Regional winners at the 2013 Wedding Industry Awards, this exceptional quartet are one of the UK's leading string ensembles. From Bach, Mozart and Tschaikowsky right through to Lady Gaga, Vampire Weekend and even Led Zeppelin, Nero String Quartet have established an extremely versatile repertoire packed full with elegant and witty takes on modern pop-songs, Broadway musicals, Bollywood hits and film soundtracks.

Whatever style of wedding you are planning, you're bound to find the perfect pieces of music to suit your occasion within the group's extensive and wide-ranging repertoire.

About

Nero String Quartet consists of four highly qualified professional musicians sharing a passion for performing graceful, elegant, live music – the perfect accompaniment to any wedding-day celebrations!

Since its formation in 2011 this talented ensemble has gone on to collect a wealth of prestigious awards, including The Derek Young Memorial Award, The Sylvia Cleaver Chamber Music Prize and The Elgar Award, and were named the 'Best Wedding Live Entertainment' at the 2013 Wedding Industry Awards.

The quartet have performed at many respected venues all around the world, as well as making live appearances on several TV shows, and are the preferred Bollywood String Quartet for several prestigious venues.

The quartet are very experienced at performing at weddings, and will work with each individual couple to develop a unique set-list in order to generate a magical affective atmosphere for your ceremony, reception drinks, wedding breakfast or evening party.

From traditional pieces such as Beethoven's 'Ode to Joy', Mendelssohn's 'Wedding March' or Pachelbel's 'Canon' to beautiful renditions of pop-songs, film soundtracks and Jewish music, Nero String Quartet's soundscape is seemingly never-ending!

Nero String Quartet specialise in beautiful arrangements of Bollywood soundtracks, and are very happy to stage their performance dressed in colourful saris.
