With some of her earliest memories recalling visits to art galleries and photographic exhibitions, Morag Macdonald's abiding passion for photography was ignited from an exceptionally tender age, and has continued to grow with her into adulthood and her chosen professional career. Establishing her own business, Documentary Image, in 1996, she later went on to graduate with a BA (Hons) in Documentary Photography in 1998, since when her skill-set has been widely recognised within several associated fields, one of these being the wedding industry.

Not only does Morag capture some of the most stylish and unique images, she also enjoys spending a great deal of her spare time teaching photography at universities and colleges and supervising training courses. She can boast numerous impressive award titles, such as 'Wedding Photographer of the Year 2010', and was the winner of the 'David Rio Trophy for Wedding Photography' for the second year running.
