About

Matt Wing is a professional wedding photographer operating from his studio in South Woodham Ferrers in south Essex, and has been shooting weddings for many years now. He is one of the few photographers in the whole of Great Britain accepted as a Google Trusted Photographer, which is quite an accolade.

Matt invariably shoots with backup camera bodies (the lenses rarely go wrong and he has a wide selection anyway), memory cards, batteries etc. in the unlikely case that anything were to fail. This means that your investment and wedding photos are in safe hands. He also has full professional liability insurance.

The Photos

Matt Wing's iconic images are delightfully artistic. Adopting an unobtrusive approach, he shoots primarily in the documentary style, with the occasional posed shot of the bride and groom. And when there is a non-spontaneous posed shot to be taken, they are some of the most relaxed examples that we've seen.

Matt takes full advantage of some great unusual angles, setting up shots through windows, capturing reflections in mirrors and using foreground features to break up the image in a satisfying way. Unsurprisingly, he is also a dab-hand with image-editing.
