From his home near Falmouth, Mark travels to weddings throughout Cornwall and the surrounding counties. He uses an unobtrusive, reportage style in order to capture the true story of your wedding day, exactly as it happened. Therefore, aside from a few group shots, Mark sticks to an 'unposed' approach which allows you to relax and enjoy your celebration.
His unobtrusive way of working means he won't interrupt you or your guests, so you can focus on having fun! Mark understands how much thought and effort will have gone into choosing your venue, decorations, cake, etc., so he will also capture some beautiful shots of all these small but important details.
Mark lives just outside Falmouth with his wife Jodie and two sons, Dylan and Harry. He is a multi-talented photographer who enjoys snowboarding, playing guitar, golf and works as a freelance online content marketing consultant when not photographing weddings. Mark began capturing reportage photographs of weddings five years ago and has worked professionally within the field for three years.
Mark is an unusual photographer as he works solely in the reportage style. As you will see in the above gallery, Mark is able to create stunning photographs of the bride and groom without needing to set up a shot and pose the couple. This style is perfect for those couples who might feel awkward in front of the camera, as Mark's approach is so unobtrusive, you may not even know he's there! You can focus on enjoying your day and celebrating with your guests, whilst safe in the knowledge that Mark will be capturing some beautiful shots. However, if you'd like a few posed group shots taken, he will be happy to do this.
To keep things simple, Mark offers two levels of coverage: full day and half day.
Full day - 10-12 hours of coverage, from bridal preparations to the first dance and evening celebrations.
Half day - 5 hours of coverage, perfect for shorter weddings or if you only want a certain part of your day photographed.
