About

The site of Magdalene College has a reputation for academia that stretches back as far as 600 years, though not always in the form that it is in today. The College was re-founded in 1542 by Lord Audley, who dedicated it to St Mary Magdalene.

The College is located in the centre of Cambridge, on the banks of the river Cam and has a rich, literary history. Its halls have played host to literary giants; TS Elliot, CS Lewis and Rudyard Kipling and one of its buildings is named for its famous historical figure, diarist Samuel Pepys.

Historical and atmospheric, enjoy a candlelit dinner surrounded by the incredible paintings that make up the room's small gallery and enjoy its colourful stained-glass windows.

For a more intimate dining experience, enjoy a wedding feast in the classic décor of The Parlour and enjoy its Jacobean artwork and Greco-Roman inspired relief

Between its larger size and charming pinewood panelling, Ramsay Hall makes an incredible place to dance the night away.

Magdalen College's standard package is £103.00 per head and includes; hire of your desired rooms, a variety of provided drinks for the reception and toast, 3 course wedding breakfast and much more.

Catering

Choose from a selection of mouth-watering three course wedding menus that come included with the standard wedding package. The college has a reputation for producing a high quality dining experience and, with a range of tempting menus on offer and an experienced head chef; your wedding breakfast is in safe hands.

Vegetarian and vegan options are available and wine can be provided from the College's own wine cellar.

Accommodation

The College can offer accommodation (subject to availability), all with internet access. There are a range of rooms available, including ensuite and standard.
