History
Llanhilleth Institute was originally built and paid for by the local miners in 1906. For many years it was the pride of the village, but its grand 1970's décor soon became outdated and the building fell into disrepair. It was later restored with new timbers, using traditional techniques of the Edwardian era, and now stands as a sparkling landmark in the middle of Llanhilleth.
The village itself is an area of myths and legends, fairies and folklore, and so would give your wedding an ethereal edge. It is also full of leafy green fields and stretching views that your guests can enjoy while sipping their champagne.
