This talented Cotswolds based photographer specialises in capturing the essence of your wedding day in a natural, unobtrusive manner. Lara Jacques is an oasis of calm and always ensures you'll feel entirely comfortable in front of the camera.

Providing a pre-wedding consultation along with an engagement shoot, she invests time in getting to know the brides and grooms tastes and preferences as well as ensuring guests are totally relaxed around her.

About

Having pursued her passion of photography for years, whether that's just snapping shots of anything and everything in her free time or her professional training, Lara lives and breathes photography. Using it as her escape from her busy family life, she finds that photography is the best way to destress and relax.

This allowed her to play on her talents and led to a first prize cover feature in Mother and Baby magazine. She's professional, CRB cleared and always approaches your day in a discreet and friendly manner.

Always found with a camera in hand (her husband would say she's also married to her camera), she utilises the beautiful Cotswold countryside as the backdrop for her images. Continuously seeking to perfect her photography techniques, she has learnt from some of the best, and is always adding to her ever-expanding portfolio.

The Photos

Focusing on documentary style photography techniques in order to naturally capture the essence of your wedding day, Lara creates a mixture of images from candid snaps to fun group shots.

Offering her services for the whole day, she is there from the wedding preparations in the morning to the dancing in the evening, so nothing from your special day is missed.

The images themselves are taken using the highest quality Canon equipment and are individually edited naturally and to a high standard. All of the photographs taken will be available via a private online gallery to access at your convenience along with a USB stick for easy printing.

Prices

Prices start from £595, depending on your requirements and all investments include a pre-wedding consultation to get to know Lara and for her to understand your preferences.
