Langtons House

Langtons House is a Grade II Listed 18th Century manor house located in Hornchurch, Essex. The house stands in the picturesque landscaped gardens with an ornamental lake, orangery and bath house all dating from the eighteenth century.

Langtons House is the perfect venue for your ceremony and reception; you have the choice of four unique rooms to choose from all overlooking landscaped gardens and an ornamental lake. For your reception Langtons House holds a maximum of 70 people seated or 100 standing, also ideally situated leading out into the gardens.

Facilities

There are four ceremony rooms at Langtons House; East Room, West Room, The Orangery and Langtons Hall is both a ceremony room and reception hall.

East Room

The East Room holds 50 people and overlooks the lake and landscaped gardens. The room is painted in duck-egg blue and white and its main feature is a breathtaking decorative ceiling, complete with original mouldings. This is complemented by light blue drapes, crystal wall lights and two beautiful crystal chandeliers which really give this room an exquisite and delicate feel.

The West Room

The West Room holds 50 people and overlooks the lake and landscaped gardens. The room has a wonderfully warm and elegant feel to it with a colour scheme of gold and off white. High-quality golden drapes surround the bay windows; the room is complemented by a stunning dark wood fireplace and porcelain chandeliers.

Langtons Hall

Langtons Hall holds 90 people for a ceremony (88 guests plus the couple) and overlooks the lake and landscape gardens. The Grand Hall is adjacent to Langtons House the walls are finished with golden brown wood-panelling and William Morris style wallpaper. The hall is finished with dark green drapes and gold and green banqueting chairs. This is the perfect venue for a larger ceremony.

The Grand Hall is adjacent to Langtons House and seats a maximum of 70 people but can hold a maximum of 100 people standing. The walls are finished with wood-panelling and William Morris style wallpaper. The finishing touches are the smart dark green curtains and green and gold banqueting chairs. The hall overlooks the lake and gardens. The Hall is used both as a marriage room and reception room. This is the perfect venue for a smaller reception.

The Orangery

This beautiful Georgian structure is located in the heart of the gardens, nestled between the stunning Victorian greenhouse and Langtons Hall. When holding your ceremony in the Orangery you can make your entrance from the main house through the gardens to your guests who will be seated outside the Orangery.
