Kings Weston House

This historic Grade I-listed early Georgian manor house, surrounded by 220 acres of picturesque gardens and parkland, offers an idyllic setting for fairytale weddings. A variety of magnificent rooms are available to host civil ceremonies and receptions for up to 120 guests, and the entire venue is capable of catering for up to 230 people.

Exceptional in-house caterers will create an unforgettable wedding menu for you and your guests to enjoy, and celebratory drinks and canapes could be enjoyed out in the stunning grounds, which are full of fascinating follies and fragrant flower-gardens.

About

Kings Weston House is a Grade I-listed building that was completed in 1719 and designed by Sir John Vanbrugh, who also designed Blenheim Palace.

The house boasts a plethora of 18th-century features, including magnificent ceilings, marble fireplaces, and a stunning suspended central staircase. It is elegant and characterful, yet retains the charm of a much loved family home.Surrounding Kings Weston House are picturesque woodlands and green fields, all of which are accessible to our guests.

Kings Weston House is home to its owner Norman Routledge, who has restored the property to its former glory over recent years, bringing to your wedding a true feeling of warmth, care and love. Just as your special day should be.

Facilities

Kings Weston House have three main rooms available for hosting a legal wedding ceremony. Each is breath-taking, with its own unique feel.

The Portrait Gallery

Situated at the front of the house and is extremely light and airy, with high ceilings and Georgian windows. It's a real fairy-tale room, covered in portraits of the Southwell family, who commissioned the building of Kings Weston House in 1712.

Ceremony Capacity – 140 guests

The Great Hall

A grand room featuring a sweeping suspended staircase, from which the bride can make an impressive entrance for the wedding ceremony. Guests can take in the beautiful gold leaf Georgian skylight and the trompe l'oeil statues and urns in the alcoves.

Ceremony capacity – 120 guests

The Oak Room

Featuring beautifully detailed wallpaper and a hanging golden chandelier, The Oak Room overlooks the stunning grounds of the house and is perfect for a smaller wedding.

Wedding breakfast capacity - 60 guests

The Secret Garden

A beautiful space for an enclosed outdoor legal ceremony, with a stunning ornate pagoda & exposed brick back wall. Alternatively you are welcome to use this space along with the vast gardens for reception drinks.

The Vanbrugh Room

Featuring stunning views across to Wales, this beautiful area is perfect for an elegant wedding breakfast.

The venue has been renovated and is as stately, glamorous and homely as you can imagine. Weddings at Kings Weston are amazeballs.
