All staff from room service staff bringing us breakfast to Evie and Georgia making everything so perfect for us for it to run smoothly! It honestly was just the perfect day ever! Even to the minute of getting to the coast room ready to walk down the aisle, they made it so very easy to just forget the nerves and to go and enjoy the best day of our lives! The room was set up perfectly and the staff behind the bar and serving our food was again so polite and very quick! The day went so quickly but Evie checked on us at every stage on the day and we honestly cannot thank her enough! Food was to delightful and the chefs done amazing! - perfect venue with the perfect setting! Thank you all so much for making this day the best day ever! We got married at the Hythe imperial hotel in September 2023. We had an amazing day, our guests loved it. Georgia was our wedding planner. She was with us every step off the way, with our build up to our big day. She supported advised and recommended. We went to their wedding venue advents, where we looked at venue decorating. Claire at creative venue was at one of the events, we booked her and she did our amazing room decor. With her team, we was so pleased with her results. We also booked mikey our wedding singer, from their wedding fair. Who was fantastic, he really made our day. We had so many compliments about him. We could fault nothing on our special day. Georgia, Evie, Russell our wedding toast master and Lilly their Hospitality manager looked after us. Food and drink, with photo sorting was to an exceptional standard. Can’t thank Georgia and her team enough. Our day was fantastic and a day we will never forget with them all. Highly recommend this venue with a fantastic team to support every married couple to be. We are now looking forward to our 1st year anniversary. When we get to sample a free meal that comes complete with our package. From start to finish the staff at the Hythe imperial made planning our wedding super easy and stress free. Catering- The food tasting prior to our wedding was amazing and really made choosing the wedding breakfast meal a great experience, we tried the cheese bites and soup for starter to try and went with the cheese bites which were amazing, although the soup didn’t come far behind as it was very tasty. For main we chose to try the traditional roast and the pork, we went with the pork and it was the luxurious mash that sold it for us but the traditional roast was also lovely. Pudding we tried the crème brûlée and the chocolate tart, the chocolate tart was delicious but a little bit rich for us so chose to have crème brûlée which was divine. Over all dining experience both at the trial and on the wedding day was perfect for what we wanted. I can’t comment on the evening buffet as I was too busy dancing the night away and missed it but all of our guests spoke very highly of it. We got married on the 5th August hoping for sunshine but British weather had other ideas for us and it was pouring on our wedding day until about 4pm. We had planned to have mainly outdoor photos but Georgia was amazing at finding us other places to have our photos and keeping our quite rowdy family happy throughout the whole day. When the rain finally stopped we managed some photos on the beach and in outside areas with such beautiful back drops around the grounds. We chose to have the recommended DJ as part of our package who was amazing, accepted all of our song requests and there were quite a few as I got all of our guests to choose a song, he really new how to adapt our wants to encourage all our guests to get up and have a boogie. Waiters/Waitresses and bar staff were all super polite and made sure that we had everything we needed whenever we asked. The wedding overall was everything I dreamed of and more, Georgia and her team really brought the day I had imagined to life and I couldn’t thank them enough for that. Thank you Hythe Imperial.
Our dream was to have a wedding by the beach, in our home town, and The Hythe Imperial did not disappoint! The team were very attentive from one day, throughout the planning and the whole weekend. We hired KC Wedding and Events to dress the venue, and White Rose Photography to do our photographs, both were amazing as they knew the venue really well. I would happily recommend it to anyone. With Georgia and Evie by your side helping plan the day, you can't go wrong!
We feel we must write to express our delight at our wedding at the Hythe Imperial. When we first chose the Imperial we looked at several venues but found none were as enthusiastic or as helpful with our planning of our wedding as all your staff. It didn't matter who we dealt with everyone was cheerful and helpful and nothing was ever too much trouble.
The venue was prepared immaculately and we have since found that staff were working until 2am to prepare the ballroom. Dedication indeed.
Many of our guests stayed in the hotel and all commented on the standard of the rooms and the food. Indeed one was so impressed she asked for the recipe of a sauce that accompanied the wedding breakfast and the chef shared it willingly.
On the day of the wedding we were very reassured by the careful organisation and support by all the staff. We were checked on to ensure that we were ok and we needed nothing.
Both the ceremony room and the Ballroom looked stunning and were much commented on by all our guests.
We took advantage of the gardens and were able to have some lovely photos taken in the pagoda. The children were also able to make use of the garden thanks to the weather, this was much appreciated as young children sometimes do need a space to let off steam.
We can only thank you for turning our special day into an extra special day. It should be added that we were very pleased with the price as well, we settled on the £4000 package which included most of our needs and any extras were reasonably priced Our thanks again.

The food was delicious; the rooms for guests and ourselves were luxurious and comfortable and the spa facilities were good to the next day!
As a new Mr & Mrs we cannot thank the staff and wedding consultant enough for the smooth running of our whole wedding day. We were really looked after and cannot fault the toastmaster Russ who was fantastic in organising the wedding guests and the shift from the ceremony, to the wedding breakfast, to the evening. Our suite for the night was the Seabrook and was stunning, so luxurious and comfortable. We plan to return on our anniversary in the years to come!
