Hollyhock Lane

Based in Lewes, East Sussex, is a small creative design studio housing the talented Fine Art graduate, Julie Annis. She specialises in hand-drawn and highly illustrated wedding stationery. Whether you want to customise one of her ready-to-print designs or would like a unique, bespoke design; she can help.

Hollyhock Lane provides professional prints and prides itself on the use of environmentally responsible printers and high quality, eco-friendly FSC certified paper. Julie is based in East Sussex but is unique in that she mainly uses Skype for meetings so can assist no matter your location.

About

Hollyhock Lane was created by Julie Annis in 2012 after working as a graphic designer for ten years. Julie wanted to create a business that enabled her to use her passion for drawing and painting as well as her fine art degree and that's how she found stationery.

Now doing a job that she loves, Julie is able to share her talents with her clients through her bespoke designs and personal service. Hollyhock aim to take the stress away from organising your wedding whilst providing you with unique, hand-crafted stationery.

Designs

Julie is an artist, and to her, the designs she creates are like mini works of fine art. She specialises in using the mediums of watercolours, pen and ink occasionally branching out to collages.

Julie can create unique, bespoke designs that are tailored to your own story or concept. She also offers a range of themed, ready-to-print invitations and matching stationery that can be customised to your tastes and details. These designs range from modern watercolour patterns to floral and abstract designs to city-themed and illustrative designs.

In addition, Julie is able to offer special print processes including duplexing and triplexing for extra thick board invitations, gold and colour foiling, embossing as well as edge painting and edge foiling.

Order Process

Julie offers an in-depth service involving an initial consultation to discuss ideas, drafts of your design/concept and text, confirmation of design as well as printing and delivering the stationery to your door to be signed for.

Julie is based in East Sussex but is happy to meet bespoke clients in London and for all other areas she uses Skype for meetings so location isn't an issue. This is particularly useful for couples wanting specific designs as they can take the time to go over their stationery in detail and receive exactly what they've asked for.
