Hilles House is a beautiful Arts & Crafts mansion located in the Cotswolds. It was built between 1914 and 1916 by Detmar Jellings Blow, a celebrated architect of the time. The house is set in a private estate of 1,000 acres and is surrounded by stunning gardens.
Facilities
Access to the Big Hall and the Primavera Room, named after the tapestry, that drapes one whole wall. It is a wonderful romantic room for the bride to get ready in, with a magnificent staircase to walk down to the Big Hall or out to the gardens - exclusive use of the landscaped weddings. Civil Ceremonies
With outstanding views of the lawn and the five counties that span beyond, The Big Hall is the perfect place to host your civil ceremony. Licenced for civil ceremonies, this space can host 100 guests and for a few more, the lawn can host 150 guests.

If you are thinking of something bigger, Hilles House have the space for marquee and yurt hire. Although not included, you can use one of their trusted suppliers to make your wedding dreams to come true. Just imagine a rustic romantic yurt with glistening fairy lights as you celebrate your wedding day.
Church Weddings
For those who want a church service, Hilles House is the perfect location. With nearby historic churches including Painswick, Pitchcombe, Cranham and Stroud, you can return after for drinks and canapes before you wedding breakfast.
