Friends Chris Wayland and Jo Rasenberg wanted to create a catering business that provided great food, intuitive service and a remarkable client experience. Jo's amazing organisational skills and eight years' experience in front of house hospitality, combined with Chris's many years working as an executive chef, means that Hibiscus Food do just that.

Hibiscus Food know that couples - especially those planning a wedding! - have extremely busy lives, and so they are always flexible to match full schedules, and are willing meet in and out of business hours.

The Food

Using only the best locally sourced, seasonal ingredients, Hibiscus Food have created an array of options for your wedding cuisine. Below is just a sample of what they could provide for you on your wedding day, as Jo and Chris can work with you to create something truly unique.

Canapés

A wide selection of miniature favourites, including tiny salmon Scotch eggs, six-hour braised beef and goat's cheese-covered beetroot scones.

Wedding Breakfast
The traditional three-course meal can be adapted to meet your tastes and requirements. Opt for a larger selection of canapes at your reception and go straight to the main course at your wedding breakfast, or even give your guests a choice by sending them a menu in advance. It requires a little more effort, Jo advises, but it definitely adds that extra personal touch.
Evening Menu

Your evening catering could be a humble variety of cheese boards and a mouth-watering antipasto platter. Or serve your evening guests a hearty selection of hot pulled-pork buns, bacon and sausage butties adorned with HP sauce or ketchup, fish finger sandwiches and a traditional paper bag filled to the brim with chips.
