Flowers
The flowers at Hedge Rose are sourced directly from the Dutch flower markets, where there is greater variety of high-quality blooms – although increasingly, English flowers are being bought from Cornish-based growers. Each wrap of flowers is then delivered to the store overnight where they are subsequently cut and conditioned ready for sale.
Hedge Rose creates stylish floral arrangements with a rustic twist to create natural-looking designs. Incorporating foliage into their bouquets makes for a creative combination of textures and smells, making them extra special for your big day. The team can create bespoke bouquets, buttonholes and venue décor all using the highest quality flowers and incorporating your chosen colour scheme.
The Service
You're encouraged to come in for an initial, informal consultation where you can talk to Kate about your ideas for flowers and see some examples of her work. You might also bring in photos, colours, fabric swatches, accessories or pictures for inspiration.
You'll then be invited back to confirm your requirements and here you can look at samples of your floral arrangements and make any last-minute suggestions or changes. Once you have confirmed your designs you can book your wedding date and the rest is up to the team.
Full delivery and set-up is included in their service the day before or on the day of your wedding.
Although Hedge Rose are more than happy to arrange flowers for a church ceremony, it is fully understood that in some parishes floral services must be arranged in-house. Under these circumstances, they are willing to supply a list of recommended colour-coordinating flowers, providing loose stems to the in-house team at a 15% discount.
