Located on the edge of the Norfolk Broads, Hales Hall and its Great Barn are nestled within the surrounding wild meadows and outstretched country. Built in 1478 by Sir James Hobart, this medieval venue has been carefully restored for the modern age. The site is easily located from Norwich, 12 miles away, but also just 2.5 miles from London.
Image a great vaulted barn, enveloped by brick walls and wooden beams, mantles adorned with candlelight and bountiful floral decorations. The building's structure boasts excellent acoustics for any music in the evening and hosts a fully-licensed bar.
You can also choose to hold your ceremony outside on the lawn. The Great Barn hosts a gravel terrace with seating and a pergola, which can be utilised for games or post-ceremony drinks.
