Greswolde Arms Hotel

This venue's gorgeously white exterior creates the perfect backdrop for your wedding day romance. The traditionally warm interior offers ample space and the friendly staff will cater to your every need.

The variety of packages on offer mean that you can have a bespoke wedding tailored exclusively to you. The venue also offers catering, DJ and master of ceremony services!

History

This beautifully historic inn has truly stood the test of time. Since 1680 it has been open as a resting place for travellers, tourists and locals. The building has played a significant role in the village of Knowle's history and is still a hospitable dwelling to this day.

The infamous building was later used to host licencing sessions, ecclesiastical courts, and to accommodate shooting parties. The 1900's saw the introduction of a grand ballroom, gardens, bowling laws and terraces.

An eclectic mix of people have stayed in this unique inn, including the likes of Lady Byron and The Beatles.

To this day the Greswolde Arms Hotel remains with its doors open to passers-through, just like it has for the last 350 years.

    We had guests coming from Bristol, Evesham, Northampton and Wolverhampton as well as local and many stayed over in one of their 31 rooms all tastefully decorated and furnished with amazingly comfortable beds.

    Everyone said it was one of the best weddings they had been to and to be honest we had included all the personal little touches that were important to us and Hanna complied with our every wish, going out of her way and more.

    Their wedding package proved to be just what we wanted and fitted our budget perfectly with three menu choices on all four courses, and such a variety, there just had to be something there for everyone, even the pickiest of eaters. In fact, they turned out to be the most competitive of all the venues we had visited and included the Charlcotte Room for the ceremony with all linens, chair covers and sashes, wedding breakfast, evening buffet with disco and a beautiful 'bridal suite'.
