Greenwoods offers a magnificent venue, some of the best catering in East Anglia and a level of staff commitment which will guarantee the smooth running of your most important day. Built in the 17th Century, this fine listed manor house is set in extensive landscaped grounds and has been refurbished and restored to the highest standards to provide a sumptuous wedding venue. Whether you are looking for an intimate service for 20 or a formal reception for 200, Greenwoods will ensure that each wedding is planned to perfection. At Greenwoods we have more than 12 years experience in creating dream wedding days.

Greenwoods' offers attentive, yet unobtrusive service, making sure that your perfect day runs flawlessly and stress-free. We offer bespoke packages, which can be tailor-made to fit your needs.

Packages

Greenwoods offers bespoke pakages for wedding parties between 10 and 230, with an emphasis on flexibility to provide for all your individual needs. These packages always include food, drink, room hire and on-the-day assistance from your wedding coordinator.

Late-availability deals are also sometimes offered on set dates, dependent on circumstances, so do feel free to enquire further.

Facilities

The hotel boasts its own spa and treatment rooms, including a pool, sauna, steam room and gym.

Library/ Boardroom suites

The Boardroom and Library are the two interior suites with the Library suite being fully licensed for civil ceremonies, which can helpfully be combined to host evening reception parties with up to 100 guests.

Garden Suite

We have a brand new Garden Suite that has been built to cater for 200 sit down guests with and a total of 300 evening guests. This brand new build comes with PA system, built in sound and light systems, exclusive bar and toilets and waiting staff as well as a wedding co-ordinator to oversee and ensure the perfect day for all our bride. With its own private entrance and terrace overlooking the stunning gardens, this contemporary room is an impressive example of new and old architecture blending together perfectly.

    The whole weekend went off without a hitch, and the staff were always there when you wanted them. In particular, Lauren - our planner - was absolutely excellent. We had a few special toasts that needed specific drinks or a cake to be revealed at the right moment, and whenever I glanced round to see if Lauren was ready, she was already in position smiling at me with a thumbs up. Also special mention to the General Manager, and the serving staff and bar staff on the day. Many of our guests commented about how polite and funny they were, and they really made everything run smoothly. The wedding breakfast was delicious. For the reception dining, we opted to go for the barbecue. The food was cooked on the terrace (the chef was chatting to everyone and dancing along to our playlist), and he was happily serving our guests straight from the grill - this obviously went down very well! I would highly recommend Greenwoods to anyone who wants a stress free wedding!

    What an absolutely fantastic experience we had at Greenwoods! We were fortunate that the weather was kind and we were able to use the outside area for the ceremony, although there was a very nice room ready if we had to switch to plan B. Lauren (the wedding planner) was an absolute star and she made sure everything ran smoothly. The food and service was first class catering for over 100 guests. All rooms were utilised by the wedding guests and many of them stayed up into the early hours and the staff accommodated them with great service. We spent 3 nights here with not a single negative to report. Cannot recommend this venue enough.

    What a totally fabulous day!!! The whole experience was amazing and very professional, from the booking, all the planning meetings, the lead up to the big day, and even the contact after the wedding. I was able to set up the marquee myself (at my request) and the whole day was perfect. The staff were all amazing and there was no task too small for them. The whole family stayed overnight and enjoyed the luxuries of breakfast and the use of the spa facilities the next morning. We would highly recommend Greenwoods for any event, the whole experience was one to remember!!!
