With its origins dating back to 1704, the magnificent house previously hosted frequent visits from author Jane Austen, adding to its captivating narrative. Goodnestone Park presents a range of choices for your wedding ceremony, with its stunning gardens and picturesque surroundings creating an ideal backdrop for your special wedding photographs. The Grade II* Listed House, boasting 12 bedrooms and accommodating up to 24 guests, offers a luxurious setting for your wedding stay, blending historic grandeur with modern comforts. Additionally, Bonnington Cottage is available for rent to accommodate extra wedding guests, ensuring a memorable and comfortable experience for all.

Facilities

Goodnestone Park offers a variety of wedding ceremony options, including traditional church ceremonies at the Church of Holy Cross and civil ceremonies on the estate grounds.

The Round Room in the house is ideal for intimate ceremonies with its unique decor and garden views, while the Portico offers an outdoor setting for a picturesque al fresco ceremony.

Larger ceremonies can be held at the Coach House, accommodating up to 100 guests in a grand setting at Goodnestone Park.

The Coach House

The Coach House is a light and airy space with large glazed doors opening out all along one side of the room and is licensed for weddings. It seats up to 100 in theatre style for a civil ceremony.

Garden Reception

For the reception, an exclusive area of the garden can be used for a marquee wedding, and they are licensed to host weddings of up to 120 guests. The beautiful grounds and gardens offer a wonderful setting for a wedding reception. Weddings on the grounds of Goodnestone Park can take place in the Orangery Marquee, custom designed by LPM Bohemia.

The Orangery

The new luxury timber-framed Orangery Marquee, custom made by LPM Bohemia is exceptionally stunning. The flooring is made from Ash plank - perfect for your first dance. Available from 1st March — 31st October and can host up to 120 guests.

Accommodation

The Grade II* Listed House, boasts 12 bedrooms and accommodates up to 24 guests.

Additionally, Bonnington Cottage is available for guests to enjoy. The picturesque timber-framed cottage with modern utilities is located on the estate and can sleep up to four guests.
