About
The family behind Fynn Valley Terrace established a business in 1989, opening a successful golf course (later England's Most Welcoming Club) in 1991. They moved to their current location in 2018 and have gone from strength to strength. Guests visit from all around for the delicious food, stunning views, and the wonderfully welcoming hospitality.
The venue is situated perfectly for celebrations, with the family-run Fynn Valley very proud of their Suffolk roots and strong local food producers, which goes into the wedding breakfast and evening nibbles you can enjoy at a wedding here.
Facilities
The Fynn Valley Terrace is highly versatile, and one space can transform into three over the course of your wedding.
Oak Room
The neutral walls and floor of the Oak Room means you can dress it to create the look you desire, and the wedding planners will be more than happy to help you find a florist or decorator to work with. This space even has a private bar, making it ideal for your wedding breakfast of evening celebrations.
Civil ceremony capacity - 120 guests
Wedding breakfast capacity - 80 guests
Acorn Room
As its name suggests, the Acorn Room is the smallest of the rooms and would be ideal for an intimate wedding ceremony. Large French doors and a high, vaulted ceiling let in plenty of natural light. There is also a patio area outside for drinks pre- or post-ceremony.
Civil ceremony capacity - 80 guests
It is possible to open up the Oak Room and Acorn Room together to create one larger space.
Seated capacity - 130 guests
Standing capacity - 170 guests
Café
After 6pm, you and your wedding party will have access to the Terrace's café, a delightful space with wooden flooring, a "golfer's snug", and plenty of space to let your hair down. This also opens up to the same Acorn and Oak spaces to enable freedom around the venue, and of course the wonderful grounds outside.
Evening reception capacity - 300 guests
Marquee
In the summer months, Fynn Valley Terrace offers a marquee in the garden next to the terrace. This is complimentary, but there is a £500 charge for a bar with staff, and internal fixtures and decorations can be discussed.
