The company was originally established as far back as 1959 by the Clarke and King families, who initially set up Fosters as wine merchants. After two years of operating in Bristol, Clarke and King created their very own restaurant on Small Street, before winning their first external contract with Bristol's prestigious, historic Merchants Hall, where they still produce and serve all manner of delicious food for events to this day.

Since then, they have expanded to become exclusive or preferred suppliers at many highly-reputed venues within Bristol, Somerset, Gloucestershire, Wiltshire and even Hertfordshire. These include:-

Today, the masterful cuisine at Fosters Events is served up by Executive Head Chef Paul Biggs, who has been a member of the company for over 29 years now, along with a handpicked team of expert chefs, in perfect coordination with the expertise and helpful advice to be had from their very experienced and professional events team.

The Food

Fosters regularly provide their complete range of services and fine cuisine for events across the whole of the West Country, from a hearty hog-roast, a bountiful five-course banquet or a simple array of canapés to cost-effective and wholesome finger-buffets.

Your very own dedicated events manager (whose services we detail on 'The Service' page) will work assiduously to get to know you, your preferred style, your needs, your expectations and your guests' requirements.

Fosters have helpfully collected a representative selection of sample menus together in order to give you a general idea of the high level of quality and imagination at their disposal. But please bear in mind that these are just samples, and the actual menus that you finally decide on will be completely unique to your wedding day!
