Elsie Florence is a vintage crockery and decoration supplier based in Wincanton. The business is run by Sara Kirkby, who named it after her grandmother - Elsie Florence!

Inspired by her grandmother's love for vintage crockery, and having worked in design consultancy in the fashion and interiors industry for many years, Sara decided to start collecting and start up her hire and decoration enterprise as far back as 2002. Now in the business for over 12 years, she has gained quite a reputation for service quality.

The Crockery

Elsie Florence's collection of bone china is some of the finest available for hire in the UK. Over the years, proprietor Sara Kirkby has assembled over 400 authentic vintage sets, and her intricate knowledge of all the colours, variations, shapes and types of china she has at her disposal means that she can select the perfect combination for your special day. Each individual set comes complete with cup, saucer and tea-plate.

Milkjugs And Sugarbowls

Elsie hires out china milkjugs and vintage sugarbowls, along with china teapots too!

Dinnerware And Cutlery

Vintage china plates of various patterns, sizes and types (side, dinner and dessert) are also available. Add to this authentic vintage cutlery, napkins and linen table cloths.

Decoration and Styling

Elsie Florence has a stock of beautiful, handmade bunting in all sorts of colours and patterns, ranging from the ever-popular faded rose through to denim or gingham spot for rustic barn events, or even white prayer flags to complement a festival-style theme.

Take it a step further and have bespoke bunting made for you in any colour or pattern. You can even have a series of letters stitched on each flag, forming a name or word.

China For Flowers

Elsie Florence can also provide vintage jugs, teapots and vases for flower displays.

Outdoor Furniture

Elsie Florence can also provide a limited selection of vintage shade pavilions and deck-chairs – a great idea for those iconic summery outdoor wedding celebrations.
