Situated at Bo Peep Farm, a few miles from Banbury, Dovecote Events is home to Dovecote Barn, a Grade II-listed barn wedding venue that dates back to the 18th century and still holds much of its original charm and beauty. Licensed for civil weddings ceremonies, it makes for a beautiful setting. Say your vows surrounded by the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside and underneath original oak beams. Then enjoy alfresco drinks and canapés amongst Dovecote Barn's walled gardens before the afternoon and evening celebrations.

Dovecote Barn

The Dovecote Barn has an adjoining bar area which leads out to a walled courtyard and garden, so there is plenty of space to mingle with your guests during the drinks reception. The beautiful interior is a mixture of exposed brickwork and oak beams threaded with fairy lights, providing a romantic backdrop for your countryside wedding.

Tipi

For brides and grooms who are seeking festival themed celebrations, there is a stunning giant tipi situated in it's own exclusive tree-lined field in the grounds. Complete with three big-hats, a midi-hat housing a stylish bar area and a baby-hat chill out area, wooden flooring throughout, oak doors and magical lighting all interlinked under canvas, this really is an incredible location for your wedding day. The hire price includes use of Dovecote Barn and the gardens for your ceremony and drinks reception before continuing the rest of your celebrations in the tipi.

All of your wedding catering will be provided in-house by the talented team who consistently provide delicious wedding cuisine. There are a selection of sumptuous menus available, or alternatively a bespoke menu can be provided if you had something a little different in mind. The friendly team at Dovecote Events will be there to help you step-by-step and private food tasting is even included to ensure you have exactly what you imagined.

Dovecote Events is also a no corkage venue, so you can provide your own drinks with no extra fee.
