Kirsty's abiding passion for hair began when she worked in a busy salon during her schooldays. Seven years of experience down the road, Kirsty has an excellent knowledge of her trade. She completed levels 2 and 3 in hairdressing at City of Bristol College, quickly discovering her affinity for doing wedding hair. Thus the original inspiration for 'Desire Hair', her own freelance business, was conceived. She now specialises in hairstyling for weddings, but is also an experienced professional hairdresser.

Hair

Kirsty can create nearly any hairstyle, from glamorous up-dos to long, flowing locks. She strongly advises that brides carefully consider all aspects of their wedding, including the style of the dress, the formality of the celebration, the season and location of the marriage, when making a decision about their hairstyle.

Kirsty draws on her wealth of experience to imagine what suits you best, but will always leave the ultimate decision up to you. If you want a whole new look for such a big occasion, Kirsty will also provide a mobile hairdressing service, so that she can cut, colour and add extensions well in advance of the wedding day.

The Service

Offering trials 2-3 months before the wedding, Kirsty strives to ensure that you will absolutely love the hairstyle of your choice. Once you have confirmed your chosen style - which could be embellished with simple or statement tiaras and veils - she will take notes and photos of exactly how to recreate it on the day.

Kirsty includes 30 miles travel radius in the cost of her wedding hairstyling, and anything over is charged at £1 per mile. She is based in Gloucestershire but quite happy to work further afield.
