The Cakes

The baker behind Cupcake Delight is none other than Fiona Hardy, who so far has focused her life around creativity and making things look amazing! After studying Art and Design at college, then gaining her degree in Graphic Design at Loughborough University, she decided that artistry in cake-making was her overwhelming passion, happily one in which her strengths lay.

The Cakes

Cupcake Delight don't just create divine cupcakes - in fact, their multitude of sweet treats come in a number of forms, tiers and sizes, from cupcake towers featuring identical or individually designed examples to elaborate or just plain simple (albeit thoughtful) multi-tiered wedding cakes featuring a variety of flavours and fillings.

Ingredients and Pricing

No matter how beautiful and intricate a cake appears to admirers from the outside, a cake is only as good as how it tastes on the inside. Ingredients are key - and Fiona Hardy features only the highest-quality produce, including free-range eggs, organic fruits and fine-quality flour.

Pricing

Cupcakes - handmade delights from £2 per cake (minimum 12)

Mini-cupcakes - these smaller cupcakes are a treat for £1 per cake (min 24)

Fondant-covered cupcakes - with beautifully finished fondant at £2.50 each (min 12)

Cupcakes in a jar - these make great on-table favours, and are supplied with a little spoon - from £3.25 each jar (min 6)

Two to four-tiered wedding cakes - from £195. However, the price directly depends on the relative complexity of the cake you require, and this isn't to say that Fiona can't make a five, six or even seven-tiered cake if so requested!

Flavours

Whether cupcake or conventional cake, Fiona can bake up a number of flavours:-

From a vanilla sponge infused with vanilla syrup, with the addition of either raspberry or strawberry preserve and Madagascan vanilla buttercream, to a Belgian chocolate fudge cake with Belgian chocolate ganache and Belgian chocolate or Madagascan vanilla buttercream, Cupcake Delight's repertoire is impressive and mouthwatering.

The Decoration

Nothing short of inspirational, Fiona's varied portfolio has featured scrummy cakes with various toppings, including textured and intricate sugarcraft (and real) flowers, icings, figurines and even an incredible 'pearl' coating, which features thousands of individual sugar pearls layered painstakingly to cover a whole tier.
