About

Berry Blue set out with the mission of creating food with the wow factor, that was also locally sourced and seasonal wherever possible.

Business owner Louise Brown was inspired to open a catering company after experiencing far too many bad buffet lunches in the corporate world. When she bought a property in the Cotswolds with a farm, she decided to turn some it over to growing fruit, vegetables and herbs to supply Berry Blue and the business grew organically from there. Head chef Alan Banks, along with a select team of top chefs, are the driving force and the creativity behind the food.

Able to operate in most situation, whether it's a field in the middle of nowhere, a historic wedding venue, through rain, wind and snow, Berry Blue's top-quality cuisine will always impress.

The Food

Fine quality, fresh and local ingredients whisked together with ever-present creative motivation to push the boundaries of their cuisine ever further - this defines Berry Blue's central philosophy.

The Berry Blue team have become the preferred caterers with an impressive array of renowned and exclusive wedding venues in the area. They are exclusive caterers at Leigh Court in Bristol and Eastington Park and Woodchester Mansion in Gloucestershire. They also supply catering at Deer Park in Pershore, Wellington Barn in Wiltshire, Melksham Court in Stinchcombe and many other barns, buildings and venues across the South West.

Berry Blue follow an ethical food-sourcing policy, and acquire the majority of their produce from within a 30-mile radius when possible or from their farm in Dursley. They also love to cook in harmony with the ever-changing harvesting seasons, which is why they have a series of seasonal menus available.

The Service

These expert purveyors of delicious wedding cuisine are able to take a great deal of the stress out of organising the catering at your special occasion. With your very own dedicated event coordinator, and other necessary elements such as waiting staff, cutlery, crockery, linen and suchlike all covered - this company offers an extremely helpful and well-thought-out all-inclusive catering service.

Service Staff

Berry Blue will provide a friendly, fully-trained and smartly-uniformed team of service staff to ensure the smooth running of the catering operation on your special day. Every wedding is given a dedicated event manager for before the day and during the event to ensure your special day runs perfectly (and to time!).

Table Dressing

Berry Blue carry their own stock of white linen, which you are entitled to take advantage of inclusively with your overall package. Food prices come inclusive of any crockery, cutlery, glassware needed for the delivery of the food and the linen for the tables, as well as bottles of water for the tables and their staff will dress the tables for you.

Other Services

Among other very useful inclusive extras are high chairs, wedding cake bases and a knife to cut said cake! They can also offer bespoke wedding cakes, cheesecakes and a traditional ice-cream trike or sweetie stall.

Berry Blue also offer toastmaster services, a free bar setup and fixed-rate corkage packages.

    Berry Blue provided our wedding food at Eastington Park and we loved it! The whole experience and they way Jo took care of us on the run up to the day and the day itself was perfect. The food tasting day was one of the most enjoyable experiences of the wedding planning too and looked and tasted as good on the wedding day itself. Our guests particularly rated the Gloucester Cheese Soufflés and we had lots of positive comments, especially with various dietary requirements. Thanks Berry Blue!

    Berryblue catered for our wedding at Eastington Park in December and were brilliant. We really enjoyed our taster session, and the food on the day was just as good - we received so many compliments from our guests. Katie was brilliant on the day - especially when she made sure we had tasted the canapés before they all went! Would highly recommend - the only issue you'll have is choosing a menu as they've so many delicious dishes!
