The team takes pride in offering exclusive use of the venue, allowing you to design a truly personalised wedding experience.

The team at Cress Lake takes care of all the essential elements for your wedding, including the venue, infrastructure, and amenities. This includes Tipis, power, toilets, water, furniture, lighting, and a fully stocked bar. You have the freedom to handle the rest, such as the food, decoration, and music. What sets them apart is that you can select your catering supplier, allowing you to create a one-of-a-kind event.

Since 2015, the owners have managed Cress Lakes as a fishing venue. However, the serene beauty of the lakes and the surrounding land has captivated many, leading to numerous requests from friends and family to host events here. In response, they began hosting small weddings and special occasions in 2018, which have all been incredibly successful. In 2021, founders Ben and Georgie decided to celebrate their wedding at Cress Lakes, showcasing the incredible potential of the venue with a stunning Tipi wedding. This experience encouraged the owners to pursue their dream of hosting even more remarkable events and weddings.

Cress Lake Tipis offers a hassle-free wedding experience that is both fun and adventurous. The dedicated team will guide you from the initial booking to the smooth running of your big day. This family-owned venue, with its beautiful lakes and tranquil surroundings, has been a popular choice for weddings and special events. They have built strong relationships with their recommended suppliers, including Tipis4Hire, ensuring that your wedding day is everything you've dreamed of.

Bar staff and car parking attendant on guest arrival

Cress Lake can cater for 100 days guests and an additional 20 evening guests

Venue Access

10:00- 15:00 – Access the day prior
10:30- 23:30 – Exclusive access on the Big Day
Music to cease at 11pm
08:30-10:30 – Access to the venue the following day to collect any left items
