Civil ceremonies, civil partnerships and celebrant ceremonies are held in various indoor and outdoor settings at Copdock Hall. The Elizabethan barn is a popular choice for indoor wedding ceremonies, with outdoor ceremonies in the rustic open-fronted barn, the small courtyard barn, elegant garden pergola or hidden vineyard wedding venue.

Church of England weddings can be held in the beautiful parish church of St Peter’s which stands proudly above Copdock Hall’s vineyard and can be accessed directly from our carpark and gardens.

The Grade II Elizabethan barn is central to the wedding venue and will be the hub where guests mingle and celebrate under the vaulted cathedral-like oak beams. Glass doors flood the interior with light and underfloor heating ensures your guests will be comfortable year round. The wedding barn opens on to the lawn, with views across our award-winning vineyard, with a secluded courtyard offering additional entertainment space to the other side, where guests can enjoy the bar, outdoor kitchen, food trucks and relaxed seating areas.

Weddings of all sizes work well in such a flexible space, with clever partitioning and furniture creating entertainment areas for smaller weddings. For larger weddings, the barn seats 180 guests, or can accommodate up to 350 for an evening reception.

New for 2025

Plans include the addition of an avenue of trees to make your wedding guests arrival even more special. A brand new Vineyard Pagoda for outdoor ceremonies and Open Courtyard for your reception. Plus, they will be building a new contemporary bar in the Elizabethan barn.

Catering

Your wedding meal is an important part of your guests’ experience, so the team have carefully selected a choice of excellent caterers for you. They can offer all types of cuisine to suit all tastes, budgets and dietary requirements, and the team at Copdock Hall will be offering in-house catering from 2025.

Accommodation

The Farmhouse offers luxury accommodation for up to 17 people in 8 ensuite rooms, divided into two sections with separate entrances and stairs to give complete flexibility. The kitchen is at the heart of the Farmhouse and is where your closest family or friends can join you to reminisce over the day, late into the night or over breakfast.

The Honeymoon Suite offers a stunning space to enjoy your first night as newlyweds. The room is on the ground floor with views over the gardens and its own private entrance, so you can enjoy your own space while still being close to your guests.
