Chicheley Hall is an extravagant, Grade I-listed country house nestled within 80 acres of grounds within the county of Buckinghamshire. Although being in a good location near the A422 and close to the M1, it is secluded and can be exclusively hired for a private event such as your bid day. Chicheley opens its doors for you to use the main house/wolfson suite, bar, sitting room and dining room for the duration of your big day.
They can also provide in-house catering for up to 150 guests as well as accommodation with 48 furnished bedrooms that have views of the gardens. Chicheley hall is a romantic venue designed by well-known architects William Kent and Francis Smith. It features 18th century architecture with the current hall dating back to 1719. Its architectural style is English Baroque, which focuses on bold colours, curved shapes and strong lines making for an impressive and grand building.

We are so so pleased with the level of service we received from each and every staff member during our wedding and the day prior and after especially Ramanos, Abby and Ryan who were all so polite and helpful. The food was amazing and was complimented by the guests (and by the empty plates)! We are especially grateful for the help we had from yourself with regards our wedding cake – I am sure a lot of venues would not go above and beyond like that for something that was not at their fault!
Everybody had a fantastic day and it really was even better than we had dreamed of! Overall though it really was the most amazing day and we are so glad that we chose to hold our wedding at Chicheley.
Well what can I say, absolutely perfect day!! The whole day was beyond our expectations & you all did brilliantly, everyone was super, I can't recall the young man's name who was in charge but honestly he was faultless, so so attentive and nice, nothing was too much for him, We have had so much fabulous feedback about the beautiful venue and excellent service, only negative was running out of Prosecco but that probably says more about our friends! So massive thank you for making our day truly wonderful!
Thank you, we had a really good day thank you, it went really fast with something happening all the time. The wedding breakfast was really good, good feedback from the guests. The evening buffet had a lot of compliments and there was ample of it, we didn't have much ourselves as we was full from the wedding breakfast, and just too busy enjoying the time, which we are absolutely gutted about as all the feedback was really good especially about the beef strips.
Staff very polite and tentative. Lovely venue and grounds, everybody enjoyed the grounds and garden games. We was particularly impressed by the professionalism of the young waiting staff, and the new general manager - very good, a great personality who made sure all the guests were enjoying themselves. The way the room was turned around was seamless as was the day and the breakfast setting looked beautiful. The thoughtful touches left in our room like the card, champagne chocolates and rose petals was really appreciated Overall very good and happy with the day, really enjoyed it and would definitely have chosen it again.
