About

Caer Llan is a family run wedding venue that has been owned and adored by the Carpenter family since 1969. The house itself was built between the 18th and 19th century with incredible extensions added as time went by. What makes it so special is its private nature; hidden away among the hillsides and countryside of Vale of Usk and further afar the Welsh mountains.

Ceremony Room

Secluded and exclusively yours, you and your partner could marry alongside your guests and feel like you are in a whole other world of your own. The ceremony room is an enchantingly private and romantic setting for your wedding vows. It is bright, light and airy providing character and warmth to your special moment.

Wedding Gazebo

Why not wed in their charming gazebo, elevated and overlooking the stunning 25 acres of gardens, fields, woodlands and the Welsh mountainsides further afar. There is no other outdoor option like it, just look at the pictures! What makes it wonderful is that the Gazebo is licensed for civil ceremonies, fulfilling all your outdoor wedding dreams.

Reception spaces

With both indoor and outdoor options available for your wedding reception you are promised a space that can cater uniquely for you and your guests. With a stretch tent in use between May and September you can chat and celebrate over drinks and canapes with loved ones, admiring the outstanding natural views. Or in the colder months you can catch up indoors with interactive table plans to make sure everything is arranged perfectly for you.

Evening celebrations

With even more friends and family joining you, the charming old country house will spoil you to an evening of fun and frivolities on your wedding day. With outdoor terraces also available to remind you once again why you fell in love with the venue and its splendid views. The verandas, stretch tent and indoor lounges provide further space for people to sit and enjoy evening food and watch the evening celebrations unfold.

Catering

Food, food and more food. You are truly spoilt for choice at Caer Llan with their talented inhouse catering team. With heaps of experience, the head chef promises food that is plentiful, fresh and beautifully presented. So that means plenty of food to fuel you for your joy and excitement and great presentation for those sneaky food photos. And all dietary requirements will be taken care of with no extra costs.

Accommodation

At Caer Llan you choose who stays where. There is a total of 16 bedrooms, full of character and charm, there are nine bedrooms in the Main House and seven in the ground floor eco extension Berm House. If you choose to stay the night before your wedding day, you will be treated to a delicious and hearty breakfast to keep you going until you hit the dancefloor. Or for a two night stay you're spoilt with a wonderful welcome buffet on the first night to catch up with loved ones. Sounds lovely!
